AARON TRIED TO ABSORB PAGAN
PARAPHERNALIA
INTO THE WORSHIP OF GOD AND WHAT HAPPENED?
Notice that Israel
claimed to be worshipping Yahweh by using pagan
paraphernalia. When Israel began worshipping Yahweh with pagan
paraphernalia, Yahweh withheld his blessings from them. They were being
blessed a little but they were not receiving ALL the
blessings that Yahweh really wanted them to have. When Israel began
participating in worship of pagan gods, Yahweh pronounced judgment!
And
HAVE NO FELLOWSHIP
WITH THE UNFRUITFUL WORKS OF DARKNESS,
BUT RATHER REPROVE THEM.
Eph 5:11
We have heard message after
message preached about
making sure that everything that we do 'lines up' with the Word of Yahweh, yet
there is no scripture that commands or even suggests that the birthday of Yeshua
be celebrated. However, the latter 19th century people want to honor their Lord
by celebrating his birthday--even though they do not know when his date of
birth actually was. In itself that appears to be quite harmless,
nevertheless, it does establish Christmas as a tradition of man and NOT a
command of Yahweh.
REMEMBER: Man's tradition is what makes the word of Yahweh empty, void and vain!
John 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
